Kayla fell in love with photography over 20 years ago, in a high school photography class. She made it her career path, by graduating from the BYU photography program in 2009. But like many others life isn't a straight line. For years she photographed weddings, and families, worked in a portrait studio, and juggled growing her family. When she finally embrace her true passion for nature photography is when her heart told her she'd found her home. Preferring to be on a mountain top, or curled tightly into the details of a flower Kayla is still doing that Mom thing, but now she just drags her kids up the mountain with her.
